Now, the topic that I’m going to get into today is, can I sell my house from out of state? There’s a lot of people who own properties in Colorado, but they don’t live there. They might live down in Texas or wherever. They don’t live in Colorado, and it would be a huge pain for them to have to fly back to sell their rental. A lot of times, you might have a tenant in the property, the relationship has turned sour, and you just want to get rid of that property.
So what do you do? Well, you can call a real estate investment company like ours, and we’ll go out to the property, speak to the tenant, view the property, inspect it, make a cash offer, and you can do what’s called a virtual closing from out of state. That’s where the title company will actually mail you the documents. They’ll mail you a copy of the deed and all the prepared documents that you need to sign. Then you can actually sell that house without ever getting up off the couch.
